Relationships Education and Health Education Consultation
Many schools already provide some form of Relationships Education and Health Education but next year, the government will be setting out guidance for what should be covered in both primary and secondary school.
The Public Health Team at Wakefield Council are undertaking some initial consultation with parents on this. The survey is quite brief and is intended to gather overarching attitudes and feedback from parents about how and when the curriculum is developed.
The survey is open for 6 weeks and will close on Monday 24th February. Once the survey closes, schools will be provided with a summary of the responses received by parents at their school.
Please do complete the survey as this will inform any decisions we may need to take about changing our existing provision in this aspect of the curriculum.
